
Reverend Elliot Ku is an ordained Minister of the Word and Sacrament of the Presbyterian Church of Australia (PCNSW) and currently serves as the Associate Pastor at GracePoint Presbyterian Church.
GracePoint is a multi-campus Reformed, Evangelical, and Presbyterian church community in Sydney. Elliot wears two hats at GracePoint. Firstly, he has the privilege as Campus Pastor to lead, serve, preach, pastor, and pray for the congregation on the Lidcombe location. Secondly, he has the incredible opportunity as Director of Ministry to equip the members across the GracePoint community for ministry. He leads the church’s Centre for Faith and Ministry which is designed to equip lay leaders. He is also responsible for the Gospel Lab Initiative which seeks to nurture future ministers of the Gospel through apprenticeship and internship programs. Elliot’s desire is to form Christians who think about serving God in a strategic, sacrificial, and sustainable manner.
Elliot is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Christ College, Sydney. Christ College is the ministry training college of the Presbyterian Church of New South Wales. At Christ College, Elliot teaches in the field of church history and uses the stories of the ancient church to shape and nurture the next generation of pastors and Christian leaders. He is also occasionally invited to guest lecture at other institutions.
He holds a B.A/B.Ed from the University of New South Wales and a M.Div and MThSt from Christ College. He has also completed postgraduate studies in Ancient History at Macquarie University. As part of his ongoing development, Elliot is also working on a Doctor of Ministry degree at Talbot School of Theology (Biola University).
Elliot is married to Sherilyn and together they love showing and speaking about the joys of following Jesus. They have one beautiful, inquisitive, and cheeky daughter – Anastasia Zoe.
